In a thrilling second singles match, P V Sindhu defeated Sayaka Takahashi in three games 19-21, 21-18, 26-24.The Indian pair of Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa is now playing the doubles match against their Japanese rivals.In the meanwhile, China made it to the final of the Uber Cup by beating Korea 3-0 in the other semi-final.
