India tackled the COVID-19 pandemic much better than many other countries in the world. Speaking to the media in New Delhi , Union Civil Aviation minister Hardeep Singh Puri said , the country has been able to contain the spread of infection and fatalities due to corona virus to a great extent. He said , the death rate due to the pandemic has been very less in the country because of the early preparedness under the proactive and preemptive guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.<br />''<br />''Speaking on the occasion, HRD Minister , Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank asked everyone to refrain from spreading negativity amid the global pandemic. He said the country has been able to fare well in its fight against corona due to concerted efforts of many people.<br />
