India today summoned Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan Syed Haider Shah to convey it's grave concern and strong protest at the continuing incidents of ceasefire violations at the Line of Control and International Border. <br/><br/>The External Affairs Ministry in a statement said, it registered strong protest at the fatal casualty of an Indian soldier in unprovoked firing by Pakistan forces on Thursday. The Deputy Envoy was also told that India expects that Pakistan will not take any step detrimental to peace along the Line of Control and International Border and to the security of India.
