Hosts India suffered its third straight defeat in the Asian Women's Basketball championship in Chennai yesterday. India was no match to its much superior opponents China suffering a 49- 107 points defeat. In other matches of the day, Japan overcame Thailand 94-60, Philippines beat Uzbekistan 81-73, Lebanon thrashing Sri Lanka 96-54 and Malaysia getting the better of Kazakhstan 71-57.
