India today suffered a 25-run defeat against Australia in the fourth one-dayer of the five-match ODI series. At the Manuka Oval in Canberra, chasing a huge target of 349, for their first win in the series, they were all out for 323 in 49.1 overs. After a breezy 41 by Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli set up a rollicking partnership of 212 runs for the second wicket to take the team to 277. Dhawan's fall for 126 at that stage marked a long procession of Indian batsmen returning to the pavilion. While Dhoni returned without scoring, Kohli was out for 106. Earlier, electing to bat, the hosts made 348 for eight in their fifty overs. Opener Aaron Finch made a run-a-ball 107.Assuie bowler Kane Richardson who registered his maiden five-wicket haul in ODIs was declared Man of the Match. The fifth and final ODI will be played in Sydney on Saturday.
