India successfully launches second navigation satellite IRNSS 1B

PSLV C-24 successfully launches India's second navigation satellite IRNSS 1B. The PSLV-C24 will put India's navigation satellite, the Indian Regional Navigation Satellite System (IRNSS-1B) into orbit after over 19 minutes of flight. It is ISRO’s 25th consecutive successful launch of a PSLV.

The countdown, lasting 58.30 hours, began at 0644 hrs on April 2. Yesterday, the PSLV-C24's fourth stage was accurately filled with liquid propellants and the lower stage control systems with solid propellants.
