India struggling to avoid an innings defeat at Perth

On Day 3 of the third cricket test at Perth, India were 165 for 6 in the second innings against Australia, when reports last came in. Vijay Kumar on 6 and Virat Kohli on 69 were at the crease, with India toiling hard to avoid its second consecutive innings defeat in this 4-match series. Still having a lead of 43 runs, hosts Australia are in a commanding position in this third test. Michael Clarke led Australia is already leading the series, 2-0. Earlier on the second day yesterday, the hosts Australia were all out for 369 in their first innings, in reply to India's first innings score of 161.
