Human Resource Development Kapil Sibal has said that India still lacks skilled personnel as required in the job market. Addressing a gathering at Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology at Allahabad last evening, Mr Sibal said, to meet the demand for right set of skilled personnel, institutions of technology should give emphasis on this core issue. He said, institutes of technology should look to develop graduates who are honed in the skills required in the infrastructure sector. Underlining the importance of reform in curriculum, he said curriculum reform is not one time agenda it has to be continuous process and should reflect what happens outside the classroom and beyond text books.
