Murugan has said that India stands first among the world countries in terms of digital transactions. Speaking at a meeting of merchants in Puducherry today he said digital transaction was introduced in the country with the objective of transparency and curbing the leakage and now it has gained popularity among the people.</span> </p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><br />''</p>''<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #222222;">The Minister told merchants that the Government has taken several measures to help the entrepreneurs to start a business without difficulty. Dr. L. Murugan further said that India has now emerged as the Global Start-up hub. There are nearly 1 lakh start-ups across the country of which 103 start-ups are in Puducherry. Under the MUDRA loan scheme, nearly 2.5 lakh beneficiaries in Puducherry have obtained 1364 crore rupees as financial assistance.</span></p>
