The Joint Working Group of India and Sri Lanka will meet in New Delhi today to find a solution to the fishermen issue. The members present include officials from External Affaisr Ministry, Coast Guard, Navy, Tamil Nadu government and Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries.<br/><br/>The second round of ministerial level meeting between the two nations is scheduled in Colombo on 2nd of next month, following the Joint Working Group meeting.<br/><br/>First round of discussions was held in November in New Delhi with a view to arrive at a permanent solution on the issue. For the last several months, both India and Sri Lanka have been taking measures to put in place a mechanism soon to resolve the fishermen issue.<br/>
