India, once the number one test team has been pushed further down the pecking order to fourth position. England retains the top slot followed by South Africa in second position. West Indies Star batsman Shivnaraian Chanderpaul has jumped to the number one ranking among the batsmen with his excellent run. He is followed by South African A.B. Devilliers and Jacques Kallis. The test bowlers list is headed by South African speedster Dale Steyn who is followed by Pak Offspinner Saeed Ajmal and Englishman James Anderson. None of the Indian players figure in the top ten list.
