Aggressive India skipper Virat Kohli is planning to open with flamboyant Rohit Sharma in the forthcoming T20 World Cup, scheduled to be held in India later this year. After toppling England in the high-scoring fifth Twenty20 International yesterday Kohli said, that he will definitely like to partner Rohit Sharma during T20 World Cup. He said that he is going to open in IPL also. Yesterday, Kohli opened with Rohit Sharma in the final T20 against England.
They added 94-run for the first wicket in quick time as India posted a massive 224 for 2 and won the match by 36 runs. Rohit-Kohli opening pair was the Indian team's biggest gain.
The middle-order too looks power-packed with the left-hander Ishan Kishan in the bench. Once Jasprit Bumrah returns, the pace attack will be more venomous.
