India has signed a loan agreement with World Bank for 500 million dollar for the Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan, RMSA . The agreement was signed between the Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Prabodh Saxena on behalf of the Government of India and Mr. Onno Ruhl, Country Director, World Bank (India) in New Delhi. The project aims to help India to achieve more equitable access to good quality secondary education through support of the government’s ongoing programmme. The project would also support all activities detailed in the RMSA framework.
