<span style="color: #333333;">The Government of India today signed a 400 million dollar policy-based loan with Asian Development Bank (ADB) to support its urban reform agenda under the&nbsp;</span><span style="color: #222222;">Sustainable Urban Development and Service Delivery Programme.&nbsp;</span><span style="color: black;">The aim of the programme is to create</span><span style="color: #333333;">&nbsp;high quality urban infrastructure, improve service delivery and promote efficient governance systems.</span><span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;</span><span style="color: #333333;">Joint Secretary, Department of Economic Affairs, Juhi Mukherjee</span><span style="color: #222222;">&nbsp;said that the programme supports the Government's urban sector strategy with a focus on urban reforms aimed at making cities livable and centres of economic growth.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #333333;">&nbsp;</span><br />'' <span style="color: #333333;">The programme also envisages planned urbanisation through enhancing the entire ecosystem of legal, regulatory, and institutional reforms along with capacity building of Urban Local Bodies and community awareness.</span><br />
