The President of Maldives Mohamed Nasheed today said that problem of Islamic fundamentalism in his country is serious and can have a destablising effect.In an exclusive interview with AIR correspondent Sarita Brara Mohammed Nasheed said that his government is trying to deal with the challange.In the wake of increasing numbers of incidents of sea piracy as well and terrorism taking the route of sea, Mohamed Nasheed said that there is a room for common policy to defend the Ocean.President Nasheed who was the guest of Honour at the Delhi conference on climate change with the focus on technology development and transfer said that India can lead in green power revolution to save the planet from the impact climate change.He also identified housing, power, transport, and development of airports as areas where the Indian companies could invest.
