The External Affairs Minister Mr. S.M Krishna has said that the people of Pakistan have lost a dynamic and a progressive leader following the assassination of Governor of Punjab province Salmaan Taseer. In his letter to his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmoood Qureshi, Mr. Krishna expressed shock and sorrow at the assassination of Taseer and conveyed condolences for the bereaved family and people of Pakistan on behalf of the Indian government.
