India set a target of 261 runs for Sri Lanka in 2nd T20

In cricket, India has set a huge victory target of 261 runs for Sri Lanka in the second match of the three match Twenty20 series now underway at Indore. Earlier, put into bat, India scored 265 for 5 in the stipulated 20 overs. Skipper Rohit Sharma reached many landmarks today with his contribution of 118 which is the highest individual score for India in T20. Opening India's innings, Rohit Sharma and K.L.Rahul were responsible for a stand of 165 runs which is the highest for India for any wicket in T20 matches. His 35 ball hundred today was joint fastest century in Twenty20, the other being of David Miller of South Africa. Rohit Sharma also became the first Indian captain to score a century in T-20. He also became the first Indian player to hit 10 or more sixes in both ODIs and T20s. India lead the Twenty20 series 1-nil after the visitors slumped to a huge 93-run defeat in the series-opener at Cuttack.
