India have set a victory target of 315 runs for Sri Lanka in the first One-Dayer at Hambantota. Electing to bat after winning the toss, India made 314 for 6 in the stipulated 50 overs. Virat Kohli top-scored with a fine 106, while Virender Sehwag was run out for 96. The other batsmen out were: Gautam Gambhir for 3, Suresh Raina – 50, and Skipper M.S. Dhoni for 35.
