India has sought more market access from Japan for its agricultural, marine and pharmaceutical products. Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma, who is on a two-day visit to Japan, flagged concerns relating to mounting trade deficit at a meeting with Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida in Tokyo yesterday. He said that it is a matter of concern that the global economy remains stressed.
