India seeks information from Spain on arrest of six Pakistanis

India has sought information from Spain on the arrest of six Pakistanis and one Nigerian who allegedly provided forged passports to Lashkar-e-Taiba and groups linked to al-Qaeda. External affairs sources said in New Delhi, the information about the busted terror cell, the arrested men, their activities and photographs have been sought from Spain through diplomatic channels. Indian intelligence agencies have been told to be in touch with their international counterparts to get information about the activities of the arrested men.The six Pakistanis one Nigerian were arrested on Tuesday night in Spanish city Barcelona for their suspected role in providing forged passports to Lashkar-e-Taiba, which carried out the 2008 Mumbai attack, and groups linked to al-Qaeda. Three others — two Pakistanis and a Thai national were held in Thailand as part of the same Operation Kampai.
