New Delhi has sought fresh dates from Islamabad for the bilateral meeting between the Home Secretaries of the two countries. Talking to media persons in New Delhi today, Home Secretary RK Singh said that the Government has asked for fresh dates after the Budget session of Parliament which ends on the 22nd of next month.

Earlier, India had proposed the Home Secretary level talks in December last year, but Islamabad could not give its consent due to its domestic political situation at that time.
