India says, normal ties with Pak only in terror free atmosphere

India has said that normalisation of bilateral ties with Pakistan can only occur in an atmosphere free of terror. External Affairs Minister S M Krishna, who held a meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Hina Rabbani Khar in Tokyo yesterday underlined the importance of taking action to bring the perpetrators of 26/11 to justice, maintaining that New Delhi has given additional concrete evidence against those involved. Mr Krishna, who met Khar on the sidelines of the conference on Afghanistan, also raised the issue of LeT founder Hafiz Saeed's continued anti-India propaganda. The External Affairs Minister also raised issues related to Sarabjit Singh, currently on death row, and other Indian prisoners in Pakistan. Official sources said the two ministers had a candid and constructive discussion in a cordial atmosphere.
