India-SA 1st Cricket Test: South Africa 145 for 5

On the second day of their first cricket Test in Johannesburg, South Africa were 145 for 5 in 44 overs against India in their first innings when reports last came in. Earlier, India were all out for 280 in their first innings. The batsmen who made significant contributions to India's total were Virat Kohli 119 and Ajinkya Rahane 47. On the South African side, Vernon Philander took 4 wickets for 61 and Morne Morkel took 3 wickets for 34 runs.
