India and Russia are to sign a new civil nuclear pact. It will be finalised after Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's Summit talks with President Dmitry Medvedev. The sources said that the path-breaking civil nuclear pact will ensure uninterrupted uranium fuel supplies from Russia.<br/><br/>Dr Singh's three day visit to Moscaw will also see the inking of three agreements in the field of Defence, trade and commerce sectors are likely to get boost during the talks with Russian President and Prime Minister. The Prime Minister has also looked forward to meet the members of India Russia CEO’s council along with his counterpart. Meeting of the CEOs council is among the event which symbolize the mutual desire of both the countries to expand trade and economic engagement. According to the sources, for Russians, there is no obstacle in the way to take forward trade and commerce. Dr. Singh would also exchange views with the Russian President on key regional and global issues such as terrorism, recovery of global economy, energy security, climate change, Nuclear disarmament and reform of international institution.<br/><br/>On reaching Moscow, Dr. Singh and his wife were received by the First Deputy Foreign Minister Andrei Denisov and other government officials in accordance with Russian protocol at the VVIP Vnukovo-2 airport. Indian Diplomats including Ambassador to Russia, Prabhat Prakash Shukla were also present at the airport.<br/><br/>As a special gesture, the Russian President will host a private dinner for Dr. Singh at his countryside residence in Barvikha outside Moscow.<br/><br/>According to Kremlin sources, over the private dinner Medvedev and Singh are expected to hold informal discussions on a wide range of issues including nuclear and conventional energy.
