India and Russia further consolidated their long-standing relationship with a civil nuclear agreement that would ensure transfer of technology and uninterrupted uranium fuel supplies to its nuclear reactors. Additionally, the two countries signed three pacts in the defence sector. The three defence agreements are Programme on Military and Technical cooperation for the period 2011-2020, Agreement on After sale support for Arms and Military Equipment supplied by Russia to India and protocol to the agreement on cooperation in Development and Production of Military Transport Aircraft of 12 November- 2007. Moreover, Agreement on Dollar Credit line between EXIM Bank of India and Russian Bank of Development and Foreign Economic Affairs and Programme for Cultural Exchange for the period 2010-2012 was also signed on Monday.<br/>
