Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee today said that India is reverting to the pre-crisis growth level of 9 per cent. Speaking at the International Finance Conference in Kolkata, the Finance Minister expressed the hope that the world economy will improve during 2011, adding that India's growth momentum, to some extent, is affected by developments in the western world. While observing that major emerging market economies are experiencing robust growth, Mr. Mukherjee also said that the surge in capital inflows, and inflation, including from the hardening of global commodity prices, is a source of worry.
