India repatriats 31 fishermen through Wagah border

India has repatriated 31 Pakistan fishermen via Attari-Wagah Joint Check Post, today. They were caught by Indian police in Gujrat, last year, when they inadvertently crossed into Indian waters from Pakistan while fishing. According to official sources, these fishermen include three children also. They were brought to the joint check post, late last night for their repatriation, today morning. However, their release got delayed till evening due to some official reasons. AIR correspondent Rajesh Bal reports sfrom Jalandhar that carrying on with its goodwill gesture, this is the second time within three days when India has released Pak nationals. Earlier, on December 29th, last, India had released four Pakistani boys who unknowingly crossed over to India in Amritsar sector.Pakistan had also released 100 fishermen on December 26th who were also unintensionally crossed into Pakistan waters from Kutch sector.
