India remains committed to provide all assistance to Nepal says Krishna

India remains committed to providing all assistance that Nepal requires in its formation to a stable inclusive and multi party democracy. In an interaction with the media, External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna said that Nepalese leadership briefed him about the internal development in Nepal and the progress being made towards completing the peace process and drafting of the new constitution. He said, he conveyed to the Nepalese leadership that the peace process must be completed at an early date. It was essential to move ahead with the resolution of other political issues. Mr. Krishna said both the President and Prime Minister of Nepal expressed a deep appreciation for Indian's continuous support to the Nepal's Peace Process. They emphasized that India must continue to play a supportive role for consolidation of democracy in Nepal.
