The 33rd India International Trade Fair, IITF, opened at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. Inaugurating the fair this morning, President Pranab Mukherjee said it is a successful platform to bring together nations and further trade relations with participating countries. He said the Medium, Small and Micro Enterprises sector can only prosper if concerted efforts are made at widening markets for their products. Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma said India is the third most favoured investment destination despite economic slowdown. He said creation of skilled jobs is a priority.

The 14-day event will continue till 27th of this month. The theme for this year's fair is inclusive growth.
