India rejects Pak demand for third party mediation in bilateral talks

India has rejected Pakistan’s demand for third party mediation in Indo-Pak talks. Defence Minister A.K Antony said in New Delhi today that India’s basic policy is that it does not want any interference from any country in bilateral relations with Pakistan and does not believe in third party mediation. <br/><br/>He also said, the issue of beheading of two Sikhs in Peshawar would be taken up during the foreign secretary-level talks to be held in New Delhi on Thursday. <br/><br/>Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who is in Beijing, called for Chinese mediation ahead of the Indo-Pak foreign secretaries meet.
