India reiterates its commitment to strong development partnership with Namibia

India has reiterated its commitment to a strong development partnership with Namibia. Addressing the joint session of the Namibian Parliament, President Pranab Mukherjee said that India will continue to extend all possible assistance to the country in achieving its socio economic objectives. <br/><br/>The President said that India will like to partner with Namibia in the implementation of its "Vision 2030" through inclusive development and capacity building. Later addressing the state banquet hosted by his Namibian counterpart in his honour, Mr Mukherjee said that India's flagship programmes like Skill India, Make in India, Smart Cities and others can be workable models in Namibia. The President is today scheduled to attend a joint business event and an Indian community reception organised in his honour before leaving for New Delhi later today.
