India records sensational 87-run victory against S Africa

India recorded a sensational 87-run victory against South Africa in the second cricket Test at Durban on Wednesday. On the penultimate day of the match, chasing a target of 303 for a win, the hosts were all out for 215 runs in their second innings.They had resumed at their overnight score of 111 for three. India, who lost the first Test in Centurion, have now levelled the three-match series 1-1. V.V.S. Laxman was named Player of the bowler-dominated match for his aggressive 136 runs in both the innings, including 96 in the team's second innings.The final scores: India – 205 and 228South Africa – 131 and 215Both the teams now travel to Cape Town, for the third and final Test starting on Sunday.
