India have recorded their second straight victory in the Nehru Cup football tournament beating Maldives three-nil. At the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi last evening, Captain Sunil Chhetri netted twice in the 45th and 69th minutes. The third goal was scored by Syed Rahim Nabi in the 53rd minute.India now tops the five-team competition with six points from two wins in as many encounters. The hosts beat Syria 2-1 in the inaugural fixture.
