India today reaffirmed that Pakistan should punish those behind the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Replying to a query on resumption of Indo-Pakistan cricketing ties, External Affairs minster Salman Khurshid told reporters in Gurgaon that, New Delhi is committed to the safety and security of it people. Mr. Khurshid said, New Delhi however does not want to be held captive by the past and the clock of India-Pak relations to come to a stop. He said, India looks to a future in its bilateral relationship with Pakistan. Mr. Khurshid said, both countries can also move ahead putting aside contentious issues and working on matters where a consensus can be found.
Mr. Khurshid also said, India is observing caution and carefulness in its relationship with Pakistan, and the decision on resumption of cricketing ties can be reviewed any time and are not irreversibile.
