India ready to increase capacity of Bangladeshi professionals for effective delivery of COVID-19 Vaccine, says High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswami

High Commissioner of India to Bangladesh Vikram Doraiswami paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina at her official residence Ganabhaban in Dhaka today.<br />'' <br />'' During the meeting, he expressed India's willingness to contribute in enhancing the service delivery capacity of Bangladeshi professionals for the COVID 19 vaccine, reports the official news agency BSS.<br />'' <br />'' Mr Doraiswami emphasised on the need to enhance business to business interactions between the two countries for mutual benefit. He also said that Chilahati-Haldibari rail link would be inaugurated along with some other projects during the forthcoming virtual summit between Prime Minister Modi and Prime Minister Hasina in December.<br />'' <br />'' Prime Minister Hasina recalled the contribution of India in the liberation war of Bangladesh and the post war reconstruction of Bangladesh. Referring to the Land Boarder Agreement (LBA) ratified by Indian Parliament, the Prime Minister said that all Indians are united in their voice, as far as Bangladesh is concerned.<br />'' <br />'' The Indian High Commission in a tweet said that the fraternal ties of both the countries are rooted in shared sacrifice, equality and respect which derives strength from mutual trust and closest interaction among people. It said that the High Commissioner Vikram Doraiswami called on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to convey Prime Minister Narendra Modi's commitment to make India-Bangladesh ties truly transformative.<br />''
