India has reached out to the world to counter the Pakistani propaganda on human rights violation in Jammu and Kashmir. <br/><br/>External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj informed the Rajya Sabha today that international interlocutors have been told how Indian security forces exercised extraordinary restraint while controlling the situation in the wake of terrorist Burhan Wani's encounter in Srinagar last month. <br/><br/>Over 3780 security personnel were injured in mob attacks in the violent protests that followed the encounter. Mrs. Swaraj said the government has forcefully put across that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are Indian citizens. The government is fully conscious of its responsibilities towards them. <br/><br/>India has stressed that Pakistan's attempts to glorify terrorists is unacceptable and it must stop supporting cross-border terrorism and infiltration. Pakistan must not interfere in India's internal affairs, the External Affairs Minister emphasized.
