India is providing a grant assistance of over Rs 3 crore to Nepal for construction of 4.3-km black top road in Bhadrapur Municipality of Jhapa district under India-Nepal economic cooperation programme. An MoU was signed by the Embassy of India in Kathmandu on Friday with the Bhadrapur Municipality for providing the grant assistance.This is the 17th development project in the district being undertaken with the Indian assistance. The new infrastructure being constructed will provide improved road facility to over two lakh people of Bhadrapur Municipality and seven adjoining villages of Jhapa District and will also provide access to the Bihar border on the Indian side.
