India today provided assistance of 10.46 crore rupees to Nepal for variousinfrastructural projects to boost economic cooperation between both the countries.The assistance was proided under Nepal-India Economic Cooperation Programme being implemented in Taplejung and Bhojpur districtsof eastern Nepal. Indian Ambassador to Nepal, Rakesh Sood, inaugurated the school building for Shree Nilgiri Secondary School, Mehele in Taplejung district and laid foundation stone for Shree Sinam Higher Secondary School in Sinam of the same district.. The Ambassador also laid foundation stone for a hospital building at Dingla in Bhojpur district and inaugurated schoolbuilding for Shres Bidyodaya Higher Secondary School at Bhojpur Bazaar in Bhojpur district. The hospital which will cost 2.66 crore rupees will provide treatment to nearly 45,000 people residing in 18 villages ofthe district.
