New Delhi has proposed 18th and 25th of this month for India-Pakistan foreign secretary level talks to be held in Delhi to address the core concern of cross boarder terrorism.<br/><br/>Official sources said in New Delhi that the offer of talks is practical and pragmatic approach to seek redressal of India's concerns.<br/><br/>The proposal was given by Foreign Secretary, Nirupama Rao to her Pakistani counterpart and later she held discussions with the Pakistani High Commissioner to India to share India's perception on this issue.<br/><br/>India underlines the need that proposed talks would not mean resumption of composite dialogue but New Delhi is ready to discuss whatever issue Pakistan raises including Balochistan. <br/><br/>Sources said that the objective of the talks is to enhance the trust and confidence between the two countries and dismissed the reports that the dialogue is being started under any pressure. <br/><br/>New Delhi reiterated that any Mumbai-like terror attack will derail the dialogue process and effect the bilateral relationship.
