Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar has said, India is prepared for any eventuality and country's borders are safe under this government. In an interview to a TV channel, Mr Parrikar said, the surgical strikes were successful and Pakistan is now nervous. He said, people need not worry. The Minister also thanked the Opposition parties for their support over the strikes and termed bipartisanship in matters of national security as a very important aspect for decision making during crucial moments.<br/>Mr Parrikar also said, the Army is assessing if there were gaps in the standard operating procedure during the Uri terror attack. <br/>On China, the Defence Minister said, the relations with Beijing have improved and border management is also much better than previous governments.
