India Post will begin 'National Postal Week' celebrations from today to create awareness about the importance of postal sector and its role for the social and economic development.<br/><br/>The celebrations, which will continue till 15th of this month, is with the objective of creating awareness about its role and activities among the people.<br/><br/>Chief Post Master General of Maharashtra and Goa Circle Ashok Kumar Dash said that with regards to the 'National Postal Week', the Department of Posts is celebrating Savings Bank Day, Mail Day, Philately Day, Business Development Day and Postal Life Insurance Day to emphasise on various services provided by the department.
