On the eve of London Olympics beginning this Friday, India post released a set of four commemorative postage stamps and a souvenir sheet on Wednesday in New Delhi. The stamps are a stylized portrayal of sportsmen engaged in volleyball, rowing, sailing and badminton. The stamps will be available in Philatelic Bureaus across the country.

AIR Correspondent reports, the stamps released are in keeping with the India Post's tradition of issuing postage stamps on Olympics since 1968. It has been commemorating national and international events by releasing commemorative and special postage stamps.
