India Post Office has hit an all time high crossing one lakh mark to record 1.09 lakh transactions a day in disbursing cash through Aadhaar Enabled Payment System.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">In a tweet, Communication and IT Minister, Ravi Shankar Prasad informed that the postal department  has disbursed around 23 crore rupees of cash in a day to people at their doorsteps or Post Offices nearby using a simple fingerprint authentication. This was to ensure availability of cash in people's hand during the ongoing lockdown due to COVID-19 pandemic.</span><br />
