India Post on Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the national carrier Air India for carriage of Logistics Post Air Service.An official release said, this service will help the customers to send their consignments to different parts of the country, especially to the North-Eastern region without difficulty. This facility will commence from the 1st of next month. Initially the facility will be available from 15 cities to meet the demand from the customers. They include Ahmedabad, Agartala, Bangalore , Chennai and Delhi . This service will be extended to other cities in a phased manner.
