In view of Guru Pushaya Nakshatra on Saturday, India Post has announced a special discount of 6.5 per cent for its customers on purchase of gold coins of any denomination in any quantity.

Stating this a spokesman of India Post Department said that discount is offered on Guru Pushaya Nakshatra as the day is considered to be auspicious for buying gold and ornaments. The discount is available only for a day and is applicable in Post Offices identified for sale of gold coins.
