<span style="color: #222222;">Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India is performing, reforming, transforming and offering new economic opportunities. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, this is an India which is adopting a human centric and inclusive approach for the development.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In his inaugural address today at the India Global Week 2020, Mr. Modi said, India is playing a leading role in the global revival and the country is ready to do whatever it can to further global good and prosperity.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, it is natural to link global revival and India and two factors are contributing immensely in this revival; one is Indian talent and the other is India's ability to reform and rejuvenate.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, India is a power-house of talent that is eager to contribute and Indians are natural reformers who have overcome social or economic challenges.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, revival with care, revival with compassion and revival which is sustainable both for the environment and the economy is the objective of India.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">On the Covid-19 pandemic, Mr. Modi said, India is fighting a strong battle against the global pandemic with an increased focus on people's health and the country is equally focused on the health of the economy.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Listing out the major milestones of the present government, the Prime Minister said, during the last six years, India has made great gains in the areas of financial inclusion, housing and infrastructure construction, ease of doing business and bold tax reforms including the GST. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, due to the technology, every penny has reached the beneficiaries directly.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Prime Minister invited global companies to invest in India. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, India is one of the most open economies in the world and invite global companies to come and establish their presence in India. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He assured that very few countries will offer the kind of opportunities India provides today. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, there are many possibilities and opportunities in India like agriculture, MSME, Defence, Space and Pharma sectors.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, Atma Nirbhar Bharat is not about being self-contained or being closed to the world, but it is about being self-sustaining and self-generating.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In his conclusive remark, Mr. Modi said, this forum is also marking the 100th birth anniversary of Pandit Ravi Shankar who took the beauty of Indian classical music to the world.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">India Global Week is a three day virtual conference based on the theme 'Be the Revival: India and a Better New World'. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">During the India Global Week 2020, five thousand global participants from 30 nations will be addressed by 250 global speakers across 75 sessions.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">This forum brought together global thought leaders and captains of industry, who will discuss aspects relating to opportunities in India as well as the global economic revival post-COVID.</span> <br />
