India pavilion at Middle east energy showcases state of the art electrical equipment and other power devices

<span style="color: #222222;">Middle East Energy 2023, the region's leading energy event, in its 48th edition showcases over 800 exhibitors from 170 countries as well as 20,000 energy professionals and utilities decision-makers.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">India pavilion with thirty seven exhibitions as coordinated by Engineering export promotion council of India, Ministry of commerce and several other exhibitors presented various innovative ideas including how to reduce carbon footprint and enhance the power utilization efficiency of renewables.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">In engineering, UAE remains among the top three export destinations for Indian engineering products with a share of around 5.5 percent in India's global engineering exports.The Government of India has taken steps to help the electrical machinery industry in India turn around by de-licensing the sector, allowing 100 percent foreign direct investment , encouraging the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and R&D by businesses, taking measures to increase power generation capacity, lowering tariffs and duties on power generation and transmission and distribution equipment, and supporting the ind As of now, three percent of the electrical machinery and equipment imported by the UAE comes from India.There is ample scope for India for increase its share in UAE's imports considerably and an FTA in place will surely help India to achieve so.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Further India -UAE CEPA is expected to act as a gateway for India to several regions of the world that had not yet been so smooth for India to penetrate. UAE is called the capital of the mid-east for its geographical location. Its proximity to central Asia, Africa and other gulf countries would help India expand its businesses in those regions. The CEPA, therefore, along with the other benefits would act as a gateway for India in expanding businesses in the Gulf region, Central Asia and a part of Africa. India Pavilion at the Middle east energy would be poised to augment the efforts to penetrate newer markets.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">India pavilion was Inaugurated by Dr Aman Puri, Consul General of India at Dubai, on March 7th in the presence of  K Kalimuthu, Consul (Economic, Trade & Commerce) Debasis Chakraborty, Dy Director & Mr Kamal Chakraborty, Sr Asst Director EEPC.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">More than 35,000 energy professionals are expected to attend the event's three separate conventions: Strategic Conference, Intersolar Middle East, and Technical Seminars, which runs until March 9 at Dubai World Trade Centre.
