The 113th meeting of Permanent Indus Commission between India and Pakistan began in Islamabad today. Discussions on disputed projects including Miyar, Lower Kalnai, and Pakal Dul are on the agenda of the two-day meeting. A 10-member Indian delegation, led by Indus Water Commissioner PK Saxena, External Affairs Ministry officials and technical experts, is participating in the meeting. The Pakistan side is headed by Indus Water Commissioner Mirza Asif.<br/><br/>The Indus Water Commission was set up following the Indus Waters Treaty signed by the two countries in 1960. A meeting planned in September last year was cancelled due to the Uri terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir by Pakistan-based outfits.

A 10-member Indian delegation arrived yesterday to take part in the two-day meet. <br/><br/>The Indian delegation is led by India's Indus Water Commissioner PK Saxena, and officials of the Ministry of External Affairs and technical experts.<br/><br/>The meeting is taking place nearly six months after India decided to suspend talks on the pact in the wake of the Uri terror attack by Pakistan based outfits.<br/><br/>Ahead of the visit, a government official said India is always open to discuss and resolve concerns Pakistan have over its projects under Indus Water Treaty bilaterally. But there will be no compromise on India exploiting its due rights under the 57-year-old pact.<br/>
