A Brigade Commander-level flag meeting between India and Pakistan was held at Chakan-Da-Bagh in Poonch sector in Jammu and Kashmir today. The objective of the meeting was to de-escalate tension along the Line of Control and border. Beheading of Indian soldier at the LoC is believed to have taken up strongly by India in the meeting apart from repeated cease fire violations.

Indian Army had sent a hotline message to the Pakistan Army on 11th of this month.
