India-Pak talks to cover pending 26/11 probe issues: Govt

Government says, all pending issues with Islamabad relating to 26/11 Mumbai attacks will be taken up at the Foreign Secretary level talks between India and Pakistan to be held next week in Delhi.<br/><br/>Addressing women media persons in New Delhi, the Home Minister P.Chidambaram said, the issues are being identified and the list is yet to be finalised.<br/><br/>Mr Chidambaram said that India will go through the legal process to seek access to Lashkar-e-Taibe operative David Headley who is in the custody of America. In reply to a question, Mr. Chidambaram said that the FBI has shared vital informations with India and he is not aware whether any information was being held back.<br/><br/>Mr. Chidambaram described the situation with regard to recent attacks by CPI Maoists as the worst. He once again said that the government is ready to talk with them, if they give up violence. He said that if there is no violence for 72 hours by them the government will get back with the way out for talks.<br/><br/>In reply to a question, with regard to the reported swap for the release of the kidnapped BDO in return for the arrested Maoist leaders in Jharkhand, the Home Minister said that it is for the local government to take a decision.<br/>
